30% risk of severe weather tomorrow I am issuing a severe T-storm watch.HIGH RISK INCLUDES: 2''plus hail,winds over 65 kn.I will not be here tomorrow be prepared for severe weather tomorrow,and be safe.
Rough weather yesterday afternoon. Just got power back at 9:05 A.M. after being stuck with no power for a little over 18 hours. Power went out at 4:30 yesterday. We saw NIPSCO this morning on the way to church. We got back and the power was on. my dad hooked up a generator yesterday and left it running all night to power everything. So after a terrible night of sleeping the power comes back. That's my story... We had about 1 inch of rain yesterday but no hail. Lots of wind,thunder, and lightning. Winds gusted at about 50-55+ mph. Bad storm but not the worst i've experienced, but it was one of the worst.The tornado sirens were going off. They reported a tornado in La Porte. We were under a tornado warning. We have never had the power go out this long with underground utilities before. The longest it went out before, was about 10 min. at the most.
